Delicious (especially after cooking).
Sushi is a traditional Japanese method of preparing fish or seafood and rice with a variety of toppings. It is prepared in rolls that are easy to eat, an Oriental fast food that has become trendy in North America and elsewhere. Sashimi is another Japanese delicacy. Its main ingredient is very fresh raw seafood or fish, thinly sliced. Sashimi is served with a dipping sauce often based on soy sauce and a garnish such as sliced white Asian radish known as Daikon.
In addition to the wines mentioned in our food pairing table you might consider a rich Champagne or a Pinot Noir from Oregon (United States).
